Moments That Matter

PreviousPage 3 of 4Next

Hi, Sofia,

i agree with your fine pizza experience because once we have also face such kind of experience late response makes people feel bad, i think they should train their staff how to care their customers needs. professionalism with friendly  environment is very important so that their customer come again and feel more valued.

I suggest that they should  identify and  apply ,what we have learned in this course that  ''Identify the four Moments of Connection — Invite, Connect, Joy, Thank — and where each occurs in the guest journey.''

Once, my friends and I went to a restaurant for lunch, but they took so much time to serve us. We kept asking when our food would be ready, but the staff just said "it is coming" again and again without really caring. We felt not valued at all, so we cancelled our order and went to another restaurant. The second place was so different. They served us very fast, and they were very polite and smiled at us, which made us feel really happy and valued. This matches the Invite and Connect moments because the first place did not care about our feelings, but the second place welcomed us perfectly. At Pizza Hut, if a guest has to wait a long time, I will never just tell them "it is coming" over and over. I will connect with them by telling them the truth, saying sorry, and maybe offering a free drink to make them feel valued.

Hi everyone!

One guest experience I remember was when I went to a small local restaurant with my family . We were a bit late and worried they wouldn’t have a table. The waiter noticed we were tired and had kids with us. He quickly arranged a table, brought water without us asking, and even suggested kid-friendly food options.

What made it special was that he didn’t just serve us — he made us feel welcomed and cared for. It reminded me of the Moment of Connection: Invite. He invited us to relax and feel at home instead of just taking our order.

One positive customer experience I remember was when I visited Monal restaurant in Lahore. Their staff greeted me with a smiling face, they took my order carefully and remembered what I like most. When I left, they thanked me with a smiling face, It felt amazing. Their positive attitude made me feel valued and welcome.

I have learned from this experience that connection matters most, because their staff were so kind and we had an amazing interaction. Because of their friendly environment, i would definitely go there often.

At Pizza Hut , I would love to build same kind of moment by greeting every guest or customers with a smile, listening to their orders carefully, speak to them in a friendly way so that they  feel special and valued. I think that our little positive actions like welcoming them with a smile, thanking them, can bring big changes in the customer's experience.

I love how you described the moment. It's shows real care

Nice post! I really agree with you. When a waiter welcomes you with a big smile, it makes your whole day better. It feels so good when they remember what you like to eat.

I think you will do great at Pizza Hut. Smiling and listening carefully to the customers is the best way to make them feel happy and valued.

But Pizza Hut can get very busy sometimes. How do you plan to stay friendly and keep smiling when the shop is super rushed?

Good luck!

One guest experience that has always stuck with me was when I stopped at a Dineon Restaurant in main channu shop after a long day. The place was quite busy, but one of the team members welcomed me with a friendly smile and said, "G'day! How are you going?" Straight away, I felt comfortable and appreciated. They took the time to listen to my order, answered my questions patiently, and made sure everything was spot on. Before I left, they thanked me for coming in and wished me a great day. It wasn't anything over the top, but those small acts of kindness made the experience memorable.

This reminds me of the Connect moment because the team member made a genuine effort to build a friendly connection with me. They didn't just serve my food. they made me feel like a valued guest.

If I worked at Pizza Hut, I would create the same kind of experience by greeting every guest with a smile, listening carefully to what they need, and treating everyone with kindness and respect. I'd also thank them for choosing Pizza Hut and make sure they leave happy with both the food and the service. I believe it's the little things that make the biggest difference and keep guests coming back.

Hi Reechal,

That is a great story! I loved reading about your visit to Dineon Restaurant. It is so true that a warm smile and a friendly "G'day!" can make you feel good right away, especially when you are tired after a long day.

Your plans for Pizza Hut are really nice. Greeting people with a smile and treating them with respect is the perfect way to make them feel happy. Like you said, the little things really do make the biggest difference!

Since Pizza Hut can get super busy sometimes, how do you plan to keep that friendly connection alive when you have a lot of customers waiting?

Good luck with your training!

Yes sir, how may I help you? he said may I request you for fatless milk? I smile and said, yes sure, we are here to serve you. Quickly I went to kitchen and bring him glass of milk on his table.  He smiles and said thank your young man. you are very kind. After completed his breakfast, he given me a 1000 rupee but I rejected with thanks and said it is hotel policy so I cannot accept it .  Latter he wrote good commands and beautiful good wish and handover to our head chef with 5000 rupees which I donated to special children organization.

classmates by Friday of Week 3 , Module 3.

Hi sister Sofia :

During my internship at Avari Express Hotel, I felt like part of the team. We helped each other during busy breakfast shifts and worked together to serve guests well.

The team worked because of respect, communication, and cooperation. At Pizza Hut, I will bring a positive attitude and help my teammates whenever they need support.

 Module 4 discussion.

During my internship at Avari Express Hotel, I saw a senior team member lead without a title. During busy breakfast shifts, he helped coworkers, guided new staff, and made sure guests were served quickly.

His actions made a difference because the team stayed organized and supported each other. This connects to Lift others.

During my first month at Pizza Hut, I will help my teammates during busy times, communicate respectfully, and support new team members when they need help.
